Information we collect

When you contact us, apply to volunteer or make a donation, we collect the details you choose to provide: your name, email address, phone number, mailing address and the content of your message. Our website also records basic technical information such as page views and referring sites, which we use in aggregate to understand how the site is used.

Donation processing

Hearts 4Kids Inc accepts donations online through Zeffy, which securely processes your payment through the form embedded on our website. We never see or store card details, and we never ask for card numbers by email. Zeffy handles payment processing, and we keep only the record we need for charitable accounting — your name, the amount, the date and any designation — so we can issue receipts and acknowledge your support.

How we use your information

• To reply to your questions and volunteer, mission trip and partnership enquiries.
• To issue donation receipts and maintain accurate charitable records.
• To send updates about our work in the Rio Grande Valley, when you have asked for them.
• To protect the site from spam and abusive submissions.

What we never do

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate — such as our giving platform and email provider — or where required by law.

Cookies and website measurement

We use Google's measurement tools on this website. A Google Ads conversion-measurement tag loads on every page so we can count which ads and search terms lead to support. It may set a cookie on your browser (for example, _gcl_au) to attribute a conversion to the ad you clicked. Ad personalization is turned off — we use this only to measure campaign results, never to build a profile for personalized advertising.

We also offer Google Analytics 4 to help us understand, in aggregate, how the site is used. This page-visit measurement runs only if you allow it below. It anonymizes IP addresses and disables Google's advertising signals. You can decline it or change your mind at any time from the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer; declining analytics does not turn off ad conversion measurement, which runs in aggregate to count campaign results.

Children's privacy

This website is intended for adult supporters. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Photographs and stories of the children we serve are shared with the permission of their families and, where appropriate, with names or identifying details withheld.

Your choices

You can ask us at any time to correct or delete your information, to stop contacting you, or to cancel a recurring gift. Email info@heart4kids-missions.org or call (773) 514-0509, and we will act on your request promptly.
